Flower Essences
I have used Bach Flower Remedies and Findhorn Essences for many years now, either combining them with other treatments or on their own.
Bach Flower Remedies
38 Remedies were discovered by Dr Edward Bach (pronounced batch) in the 1930's, he was a medical doctor who felt he could help his patients physically but was unable to support their mental, emotional issues surrounding the condition or disease. He set himself the task of finding natural herbs, plants, trees and water to help their problems. He combined five of the remedies, to use in emergency situations, he called this the Rescue Remedy - every home should have some! It has many uses including helping to calm before exams, driving test, going to the dentist or when there is shocking news or after an accident, obviously it does not replace medical treatment but it can support it!

Findhorn Essences
These essences were inspired by Dr Bachs's earlier work and unlike the Bach remedies are gradually increasing in number. There are over 40 at the time of writing and there are many combination remedies. These remedies are probably more spiritual encouraging personal growth and transformation.
Both types of remedies can be used individually or in a 'prescription' bottle combining up to seven of the remedies together, they are then taken in a drink or under the tongue, added to bath water or creams or sprayed around the home or office!
I dowse using a pendulum to find the best remedy for you on each occasion.
